I'm Bing. My friends often accuse me of taking more photos of food than I do of them.

(That is a fair assessment.)

Anonymous asked: I've read on here that you've studied abroad in Germany. How wast that like? Are you fluent in German? What made you decide to study there?

Hi, anon! I studied abroad in Dresden during my second year of uni. I had a blast. It definitely defined a shift in my college experience - I struggled with homesickness my first year, but after living in Germany and traveling to other countries with friends I gained a lot more confidence in myself. At the time I was taking lab sciences, and it was one of the only abroad locations that offered chemistry labs in English. I took German classes when I was there but I’ve lost most of it now. :( Dresden is such a great city, though; it reminded me of Boston in a lot of ways!
